Mountain Center Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Betsy Donovan, PT who operated her business at the Conway Marketplace with two other staff therapists and a receptionist. In 2002, Betsy renovated the old post office building on 37 Main Street in Conway and relocated to accommodate a rapidly expanding number of patients and clientele. Mountain Center Performance Fitness, Inc. was established in 2004 as a division of MCPT to provide services to the growing demand of clientele in need of one-on-one strength and conditioning services, nutritional consultation, sports specific conditioning programs and classes, core strength training, and post-rehabilitation programs. Our physical therapists are highly trained medical professionals with a minimum of a bachelors or masters degree. Our physical therapists collaborate with other health care professionals to deliver the most effective rehab program that the valley can offer. As the sole proprietor of MCPT, Betsy Donovan currently employees five licensed physical therapists, one physical therapy assistant, and two athletic trainers. In addition to practicing at our Main Street facility, MCPT has expanded to offer physical therapy to the Conway School system, athletic training services to Kennett High School in Conway and to Fryeburg Academy just over the border into Maine, and on-site Ergonomics consulting to employers in the region.
